Well, it's official. I may have the first seeding windmill palm in Wisconsin!
Can't wait to see if I can actually germinate these next year!
Here's what greets me when I head out the front door and walk down the sidewalk to the street!
And finally here's what people walking down the sidewalk by the street get to see as they approach my house! <img src=

Every night is usually between 62 and 70 between end of June and early September.

That's pretty nice for them esp. with the humidity you probably get.

That is amazing! I saw the photos from when the trachys were planted to where they are now. You should do a time lapse slideshow. Great example of how hard work pays off!

wxman, Aren't you still giving them plenty of water with some Miracle Grow pretty often during the growing season? if so how much?

I apply Carl Pool in mid May and early July. I Miracle-Gro every other week all summer and water every other day. It seems to have worked. From 3 gallon to flowering in 5 years (in Wisconsin).
