I recognize the low of 3 from our forecast. It is finally getting warm enough for my palms and Jacaranda to spend the night outside (5 to 10C). Our daytime temperatures are between 15 and 20C.

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

We enjoyed a very nice day with 20C but at 7:20 We chased some huge thunderstorms. They produced A huge funnel cloud that almost made F4 tornado. Hail the size of pennys, Heavy rain, Strong winds, Rotating clouds. Here are the pictures I took when I chased the storm. My frienddrived.

These thunderstorms missed trenton but the one with the funnel cloud was a supercell and hit trenton hard with rain & hail.

I've noticed that our weather has really gone to pot over the past couple of decades. 2 hours north east of us they had pea sized hail and funnel clouds yesterday. The high temperature for the day was about 13C. I remember that we used to have temperatures in the high 20s before getting hail and funnel clouds. This kind of weather only occurred in the summer.

I'm glad that the worst missed Trenton.

Im glad too. But we got hit by the dangerous supercell. It produced lots of lighting and thunder. There was a funnel cloud going to produce a tornado that would destroy my house. Infact the funnel cloud went over my house but in 8 minutes it went away.I saw huge thunder clouds too. We did not get it bad though. Places like peterbrough got it very bad. The rain drops were big,But their is no warm temps for us just 18C 17C 16C 14C 12C. So alot of temperature drops coming 🙁

I remember you had the Edmonton tornado and it was a very bad one.The tornadoes we had were F0 in 2004 broke tree branches. In 1994 F0 was in a farmers feild and killed a some wheat. In 1950's We had a F1 and took down some small trees. In 1930's We had an F3 And destroyed 4 houses and took down a huge oak.Edmonton tornado was and F4 possibly.

Much worse than the ones we get.
