I brought two 2 1/2 feet washy's in last November in their pots because of winter. They got burnt a little but were recovering nicely in my sunroom until the end of march when temps got up outside. They suddenly died inside where they had been doing great all winter. Is it possible that the longer days and longer sunlight exposure killed them. I set them outside but it was too late. On the other hand, my two outside bigger Washys are recovering nicely!!!

Is it possible the roots froze?

If so they probably were dead for a while and the heat just dried
them out/speeded up pathogen growth.
