Great quality as usual!
This Pindo Palm stands around 12' perhaps taller. What impressed me the most was the massive trunk appox. 2ft+ in diameter.
Flowering already... Once I study the flower bract more closely, I may be able to determine the type of Butia it really is.

Very nice! I was just there I think 2 weeks ago and didn't see it there they must have just gotten it in. Although I did come home with some very nice Agave's. A couple of nice looking Americana's and a Tequiliana.

Thanks, had some folks on a daily stroll, stop and take pictures beside it today... lol
It's more impressive in person. Protecting it will be a challenge, but then again, this is why we do this...

I showed the picture to my boss yesterday as he's in Burlington as well he was quite Jealous. I know my Windmill palm was awfully heavy I doubt I even want to imagine what this was like to move around.

Thanks Tim, I actually had to get it craned in, off a boom truck. Some tweaking to get it level, but all worth it in the end. See how, on my channel:

Thanks all. As promised a few more pics...
Inflorescence along with a few new flower bracts.
These pindos tends to have seedlings grow from in between the boots as the ripe fruit drops.
