Seems a little high, how big are they?
Green chammies are tough, as evidenced by the ones that were in wagoner a few years back. I think this winter really showed the threshold that green chammies can take, here in Oklahoma.

These guys just had a burlap crown wrap and a 4 mil open top clear plastic cover that got closed on really cold or precipatate - forecast nights.

The real winner here was my cerifera. Same protection, but flawless after winter

My greens are beat up, but alive, and will grow a full crown over summer. My cerifera can start off in 5th gear, so to speak, and not focus on recovery; I guess my rambling point is, I wouldn't pay 100$ for greens but would totally drop $100 for cerifera of that size! LOL

Chammies are as common as muck over here hence you can get a good sized specimen for a good price. Der Palmenmann a German nursery has many sizes but for 60€ you can get this

These are about that size; Euro 60 is about 85% of what the vendor is asking for these.

I think I'll wait and see if the price comes down if they do not sell out.

I sort of feel obligated to buy as I've been pressing them to sell cold-hardy palms. I got my bottle palms from these folks, for example. Lovely, healthy, but....

Those would be in the 35-$45 range out west for that size....

I saw some nice 5g B.Armata for $60 @ Lowes in the Phoenix area.

Jim, that's good to know as I need to get another one to replace the one I had that died when I left it out in the fall when out of town.

Doing a road trip to San Diego in a couple of weeks with my truck and not going to come back with it empty! I had seen one in Phoenix at a Lowes but it wasn't marked with a price, but even then I flew down so wouldn't have done me much good, but glad to see them for sale at a box store.

Definitely a high price for my area, but the demand is not as great as the supply here. Where your at this vendor may be able to name his price if he is the only one around with palms.

Really? I think I need to rent a truck and head west I got a double Chammy about that size for $120 last year. My chammy did fantastic over the winter very pleased with the results.

Yup, that'd be the price on the West coast.
Not that we've seen any at all in the Okanagan.

I know of a couple guys growing them from seed on the Island for sale...eventually.
