Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

From now on out expect serious growth man. My first one was just a bit bigger when I first planted it, Now on it's 5th summer it's just about 10 feet. It's nutty how much it has grown since my last post. 12 foot walls this winter:shock: , and next year it will be semi unprotected I'm thinking.
Four leaves at a time when there at the right stage 🙄 Slow down Buddy!!! That's what I keep telling it.

Thanks for the encouraging comments guys. Question for you. Can you successfully move well-established trachys? Reason I ask is, my wife wants to eventually move to a bigger house in 2 to 3 years (we live in side by side condo now). I'm hoping I can take my palms with me when I move.

Sure,why not.
Depending on the time of year maybe wouldn't hurt to
pot them up then plant,so the roots can adjust.
I think with your excellent work protecting you will avoid
the main issue which would be avoiding decline.

People dig them up all the time with great success, spring would be the best time of course. I'm digging all mine up when I move too.
