I was looking for palms on ebay with trunks in a pot. Is it better to have a palm in my yard with a trunk or the cold weather would damage the palm very badly. We had a temp this morning -22C but never lost my agaves and yuccas with no damage.

Sometimes the bigger the palm the better it will do in the cold. 🙂

Plants sometimes wont show any winter damage untill they warm up. 😥

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

I will buy a trunked hardy palm because they will do much better in the cold but when not trunked they dont look like much of a palm. In the cold and get killed in cold very easy. We are having a warm march soon.
