Time for a picture update as we enter August. The yard is easily starting to look very alien for Wisconsin, lol.

Ensete maurelii, other bananas and cannas.

Ensete maurelii and musa thai black.

Musa orinoco -- pups that were cut off mom plant in spring.

Yucca filamentosa 'color guard' and magnolia '24 below'.

Christmas palm.

Ficus sylvie really growing.

Cactus garden has put on size.

My windmill palms -- wow.

You should set up a video cam facing the street, so you can see peoples reaction to your yard!

Cool idea Jesse!

Beautiful garden, Tim.
Tropical Wisconsin...now can be used in the same sentence. 😀

Good to see the lanky Trachy really filling out too.

Wow your yard looks awesome! You are running out of grass areas hahaha. Your trachy is getting huge. I can just imagine the lookers of your front lawn. I only have one Banana (Musa Orinoco) in my front yard and I have people stopping all the time to ask me what kind of palm tree it is and how do I get it to grow.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.
