Josef, that trachy grew a lot this summer. 😀
Looks like it is about 12 feet tall.
And those trunked yuccas could not be more beautiful.
The skirts probably keep the trunk warmer than if you removed them.

Hi everyone! Since we are sharing pictures of T. Fortunei I would also like to post one
Really hope it worked for this is the first time I post something 😆 . The Fortunei has already survived 4 Belgian winters now and never got wrapped, the past winters it didn't get too cold also 😀

And very nice yucca (rostrata?) (brevifolia?)
Belgium is 50 N latitude, about the same as several of us from BC at Palms North.
The brick buildings likely provide a few degrees improvement, nice microclimate.
