I received my delivery of Palms today from Mike. I managed to get the 7ft Windmill planted (more then 7 ft of course) and snapped some quick picks of the other items.
The Pindo and the needle palm ready to go in tomorrow.
The over achieving 7 footer in the ground.

Great palms!
Love the size on that Trachy. Next one I plant will start out that size. That's the way to go for landscape use.

Holly cow! What's a monster! You must provide a very good protection for this baby since your winter is not so mild as in the Niagara Falls region. Good luck to your palms!!!

Incredibly beautiful Trachy...what a transition your landscaping has suddenly made!
Nice that it not only has the great height, but it's got some GIRTH to it too.
...and I like where you put the Japanese maple 😆
Great looking Pindo and Needle palms too.
Look forward to the finished picture.
...a few visits to the Chiropractor, and you oughta be back to normal again

Thanks for the comments, I'll be finishing the front beds tomorrow so I'll take some finished pics. I still had to regrade around the tree in the pictures I posted.
Barb, Back is sore, good thing I had 2 other guys helping me move the big guy.
I want 2 more big ones for next season for sure now. I'll be boxing this one in come fall to get it through the winter with a couple other ideas on how to go about that.

Thanks for the comments. I finished mulching yesterday (gasp) and moved a Hardy Hibiscus to the front as well (can't see it yet). I'm pretty much done other then having to mulch down the side of the house where my ornamental grasses are. Now time to let it grow.
I try and resize the pictures....

Jeff you scored a great looking Trachy. The fronds on it are stiffer than most Trachy`s. The Needle palm planted next?

All the palms were in very good shape. I moved the Needle to the backyard from where it was sitting in the pot. I have my Dwarf Palmetto planted off to the left of the big guy. I also moved one of my grasses and put a hardy hibiscus there. I should be finished my backyard by tomorrow and will take more pics. I think I need another year of planning with the backyard but it will look ok.
A few ppl have taken double takes so far with the front yard. I think as spring and summer goes by, more and more ppl will notice it. Right now ppl aren't expecting to see a big palm in the front of someones yard.

Wow, you planted it in a nice place...that s a good size 7-8 foots...nice to see more people having palm almost everywhere around the world.
