Might have to-
to get one up to Canada, maybe you guys can put a big order together and Bill can send a bunch up there next year-
I believe he may have a connection to make that happen- but don't quote me on that.

I plan on sending a bunch of Thai Giants to Scott so the people in Canada don't miss out on the grow off!

Sounds like the winning plan,I will use mine from this year to insure victory 😉
Actually I will plant it(the new one) in a different spot and see how it goes-
I predict Eriks most likely to burst into flames! 😈

I'll start designing my greenhouse now then 😈 😈 😈
Penny in NC most likely has the best location for one to do the best. It's anyone's game though! We already know how well they grow in Jim's yard, I wonder how they'll do in Mike's yard in S. Jersey Hot there! Also Jacks yard in Maryland Hot there too. Erik will win if he waters 12 hours a day 😉
Bill
those are some monster leaves....very cool. Gotta get one. Thanks for posting!

I'll leave a sprinkler on it!
Seriously, though, I may take Jim's advice to try to find some shade, maybe near that cabbage palm if it comes through winter. --Erik
Erik -
This plant would love the early morning sun and heat during the day/night if it's massive leaves are not taxed to much-
so an east exposure it is,this would really be best almost anywhere with strong sun or heat, esp dry heat.

I totally agree, your hot sun will toast it up! East would be your best bet for sure if you can muster a spot. The leaves might even get bigger looking for the sun too 😀
Somebody stole the biggest leaf last night )-:

Was it raining? Maybe they needed an umbrella. Or a house!
Time for you to get a dog!

This leaf was cut, luckily the flower stalk inside it was just missed.
With the bad moods I can get into in summer heat,I hate to think of what would happen
to the person who did this if I caught them.
