Hey everyone,

I need your input on what rankings should appear under your avatar for the amount of posts you make. I currently have seed, seedling and small palm. Just let me know what the next ranks should be or what you would like them to be. Of course this is if anyone cares. 😆

Regards,
Jay

You could do like this- 0 posts- seed, 25 posts- sprout, 100 posts- seedling, 500 posts- small palm, 1000 posts- large palm, 1500 posts- clumping palm, 2500 posts palm grove 🙂 10000 posts- artic palm expert 😆

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

😉 Jay, I have a Question, off topic. If the forum is about northern palms, why do we display las vegas weather? wouldn't Chicago or Boston be more fitting?

I can't speak for Jay, but I think it is nice becuase we can compare our northern weather with a place that grows many kinds of palms and sub-tropical plants. I find it interesting how cold it can get there on some winter days. I use it as a tool? 🙂

And to make everyone else pleased with their weather you could post Edmonton's temperature. 😕

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

Aaron, Those sound good. I think we should use them. 😀

nucci60, I put Vegas up there mostly for comparison and the fact that i think that place rocks. :headbang:

I'll try to add Boston and Edmonton. I have a new thing for displaying the weather that i'm working on. 🙂

Regards,
Jay

I made the weather stats scroll across the screen and added some more cities. If anyone has a city they want added just let me know and i'll try to add it. 🙂

Jay

Jay,

The more cities/towns the better..that way we can get an idea as to who is getting what type of weather...ie: from Boise to Boston...

Very cool Jay it should bring more interest to the site. You should call it the temp ticker. 🙂
