That first E. rechenbachii is HUGE! Is that a Gymnocalycium with the small glass beads? That's one that I've had no luck with!

The cacti look like they didnt have any problems! The lily are actualy really nice, a great bust of colour since most things are pretty green. They at least sort of look like stargazer :S LOL That arundo looks good beside it too, looks like no probs at all. Same with you Thais. The should all excplode this year, especialy the monster from last year! IF your getting the same rain I am everything should go nuts...

My Castors arent too far behind yours! Yours only have a 2 or 3 leaves ahead of mine....... Mabey a few of us should have some Castor races... the looser eats the plant 😈 LOL

THose Tree ferns, amaze me. You dont give them heat do you? They sized up like mad this year I cant wait to see how big they get..

Lookin good Jim! (as usual) We are getting TONS of rain here too. Still it seems many things are a good 2 weeks behind last year's pace though, at least at my place, due to the long and dragged out spring we have had. Strangely my vegetables are about the only things ahead of last year's pace. I already have tomatoes producing (not quite ripe) fruit which started out as 3" seedlings back in early May. Peppers going nuts too. Must be that stinky fish fertilizer I decided to try out this year... My y. thompsoniana's flower stalk is now protruding over 5 feet above its head. I think it is only days away from flowers opening. Couple more weeks and the bananas should really be filled in, though they are finally looking pretty good now following recovery from a nasty hail storm a few weeks ago. They seem to like the stinky fish fertilizer too! Stinky fish and Milorganite is this year's banana food plan. So far so good.

We are a good 3 weeks behind lst year. I took a look at google earth, and the picture was from last april. My ash tree was fully leafed out, and my lilacs were already finished blooming by now.

This year, the ash tree JUST finished leafing out a week ago, and the lilacs are still holding. Not to mention I had morning glory vines 4 feet + tall by now, when this year they arent even 6 inches tall...

Always looking great Jim. What are you using for fertilizer?

I really love the Tree ferns,one of my favorites to watch grow
and definitely need to be appreciated while they are around...
Not very cold hardy in the case of the Cyathea!
Agave is an Americana I got from my mom's place in Arizona.

I lost a few palms,they had already pulled before winter from Neem oil.

The Tree ferns are heated in winter.

These Castor beans are different than the ones I had last year(which were
closing in on 6' at this time last year),these start out slower and grow massive leaves
up to 42" across!

The Waggie is a new one from Bill-
I didn't take a pic of my other ones that are planted.

The Bananas should look awesome by the end of July +
way behind last year but they are bigger to start with-so,

I hit everything(palms) early with Epsom salts and K,just some
M-grow/Carl Pools for the palms(etc)
and Fishy(E) food for the T-ferns.

My brain fart to call it a honeysuckle!
