The Cerifera have been in for 3 or 4 years,very tough palm even at this size.

Can't really tell with the Washy,it seems to be massing around the growth point for a big burst of growth.

I think given another month of summer temps it will substantially increase its growth over (all so far)this spring.

My Trachy is "massing" too, with 4 or 5 spears coming up at once. 😯

The leaf facing us is 28" and growing with a new one opened...it is also
going to flower so it should be able to increase its leaf size as it is still early
in the season with plenty of warm/hot weather left.

Maybe I will get a leaf over 4' this year if the weather is kind to it.

the color difference at the top where it is pushing new growth?
This thing has sucked up some serious water from close to 15"
of water the last 2 months...Drought busting rains are cactus busting rains.

well Jim or Thai's look almost identical..biggest leaf is 28 and mine is unrolled about as much as your new one..I got you on height with the castors..im at 3ft tall but the largest leaf is only 17". I dosed them again tonight if we get another day or 2 of rain we will see what they do.

The Thai has been spewing leaves out and will now flower but them big leaves-you gotta love them!
