Great shots, Paul! They've done a great job with that grass tree (Xanthorrhoea), as I know they can be pretty difficult in cultivation.

San Fran is so cool-you can grow just about everything there and
some people try to in one yard-the cool thing is seeing all the diversity
and then seeing a Redwood in the same yard full of cactus.

great plants Paul. Is that some sort of large leaf Rhodo such as sinogrande? Cool. Also that evergreen 'holly' is that a Itea yunnanensis? PS. pollen arrived!!

Tim- Excellent. The holly is Ilex x 'alcatrensis' and the big leaf Rhodo is either R. sinogrande of R. monstreanum (Spelling?), I don't seem to have taken a photo of the label!
