The transplanted PDP I bought for $8.00 was transplanted a couple weeks ago.
I just noticed that the cut branches that were trimmed to form the trunk are turning brown.
The leaves that are existing are fine. But the trimmed stubs are brown.
Too much water, not enough. Not enough sun, too much sun?????????????

Sounds like it is ok? But without a pic it is hard to tell. Any one else have an idea?

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME!!!!!! I have not forgotten about you!!!!!!!!!!
I will get you back.
BTW, the Minor has not grown at all, not upset cause they are slow growers from what I hear and it has not showed any signs of dying either so I take it that its fine. But the Yucca, after the initial transplant, just as you wrote that it would, has actually started a new leaf. It's doing great.
But again, I WILL GET YOU BACK!!!

I just thought of something with the Minor....
When I got the Minor, I potted in a pot, I don't know, maybe 6"-8" deep. Since the tree looks fine, just no new leaves, maybe the tree is busy growing the trunk and roots right now???????

I trust you kansas 🙂
Sabal Minors are one of the slowest growing palms. That palm I sold you is about 3-4 years old? The first year I grow them they get about 2-3 leaves in the first season. But then they slow way down. They did pick up speed for me when I planted them out side.

Some of the other people here like Joe might know how to get them to grow faster.

As with most plants, age sometimes increases growth. So maybe as they get older they might pick up speed? My others are starting to grow new leaves sence I sold that one to you. It might still be in shock?
I hope this helps, the ones I planted out side, some of them are starting to get split leaves 🙂
