It looks like it would be good for 1 or 2 zones but I don't know whether it would protect a zone 8 palm in zone 5.

I've never tried it.

Allen

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

Alchris,

I have emailed them. I will see what they say. Even if they will protect a T. Fortunei for our winter thats would be worth it.

A garden full of those and you might have a scene from the old Star Trek series. A couple of cardboard cutouts of Captain Kirk and the crew would complete the look!

Cheers, Barrie.

PhilMusa,

As soon as I hear back from this place I will be posting on here to let everyone know. Who knows, maybe if enough people are interested we can get some kinda bulk discount. Wishful thinking!!

Beam me up, Scotty 😆

I can just about picture what our northwest winter winds would do to that contraption...
It'd be in Idaho by morning.

I am simply not interested in a palm tree heater unless they way overcharge me for one. I want to pay double retail. Can you help?

Kent in Kansas

and hot in summer (usually)
