Just found 2 weeks ago on youtube a guy who overwintering Trachycarpus with the mummywrap method in central Europe, he got really nice results.

Yes Barb, go on his youtube channel and you ll see all his videos. He s using heat tape,arbotex and tarp, like me. And it works well. Im not sure, but i think he s using a kind of thermocube located at the middle of the trunck. You can see that on one of his videos.
And i should say, Tcheq republic and not Tcheqkoslovakia 😉 ...
