We had our first frost, Oct 30th. Since recording temps this is the earliest frost I have had. I think the earliest before this year was mid November. We hit -1.8C one night. Banana leaves are brown and wilting however hedychium, geraniums and cannas are fine.
Time to go out and protect everything.
Meyer lemon tree is loaded with fruit and made it through the frost with no problems. The Kiwi also is in good shape.
All Palms look fine.

No snow yet in Toronto, but just an hour drive north of us, they have received plenty. Lowest temp so far -3.8C/25F. These low temps are two weeks earlier than last year.

Thanks
Phil
