Got home and all the boxes were warming up with their lights on. Two of the boxes are lit with eight c9 bulbs each on a tc-3. The Medjool date palm is on a constant four c9 bulbs with additional switch controlled 13w CFL for nights getting colder than -9c.

The Phoenix dactylifera 'Medjool' is in a box, inside a box with soil between 2/3 the way up to absorb daytime heat and insulate against night cold. It has since had added the above-described lights for warmth. Box in a box is a first, as is the outdoor Medjool as is the c9/13w manual switch CFL. Lots of experimental firsts..
