Hey everyone,
It's been far too long since the last pictures that I put up on the board, so I plan on putting them all up at once from about a month or so back to now.

Well it's looking like I'm back to my crazy self buying more palms to supply the people of the NE and beyond. This load is putting a lot of stock into the idea that people in the NE can enjoy beautiful palms trees without a ton of effort. I hope my vision of the fairly easy maintainable tropical garden catches on and I can help make people achieve this.

Just a little fun fact, this material was unloaded with no machines and solely by me and a few cans of energy drinks. The 20 big ones weighed 500-600+ a piece 😯 Once they where on the ground a dolly was used thankfully, some of you might remember the picture of me pulling the washy across my yard with a rope 😆

Anyways enough yappin, here's the pictures of the new guys! There wasn't much room to get good pictures and most of the fronds are still tied, plus it was a crappy day to boot. I'll get better pictures in a few weeks once the other plants go into the grow room. They're still nice to look at 😀

Looking into my driveway where the 20 B&B trachies are. All the 15 gallons palms in the front are waggies, plus 7 of the big ones. The forth picture is a bad pic of a few untied waggies.

This is one of the four biggest ones I kept aside to show people. I'm 6'4" for scale.

Just to give a lay of the land this next picture is taken from about 30 feet behind the palms looking at the back right corner of my property. The poor basjoos got knocked down to about 14-15 feet three weeks ago from about 19'. Damn wind 👿 I'll post pictures later from when they looked good.

This is the back right corner with pictures before and after of the 30 gallon needles before they were unwrapped, notice the 30 gallon minors to the back left, there's actually 4 of them.

This picture is looking the other way. Believe it or not there are all these trachys here! 26 15-gallons, 11 Huge 30 gallons, 5 left over 7 gallons, and 35 nice 3 gallons.

Last but not least a lousy picture of the front of the house. I'll post better pictures later.

Thanks for looking everyone, and if anyone needs anything out of zone next year or anytime in the NE, let me know. My website will be done soon but it has my info now.

That is a sweet haul man!

I can't wait to see the gh when it goes up.

You have some nice Waggies mixed in there as well,I would throw one in the ground now
it's not like you can't cover one more palm 😉

I bet you fall leaves over roots in love with those Waggies once they they put out some
Mass growth next year!

I certainly do remember you lugging those Washys around the yard-nice haul buddy! 😀

Bill,
sweet!
I love starting with a big palm. Most of us plant little ones we've tended for years, but then they are lost in the landscape. My avatar Butia is twice the size now vs. the photo I use, but it is lost amongst Canna and even basil. With the Trachy you have for sale now, they will make a huge impact right away.
I trust you'll give winter protection tips?
My only criticism is that you totally stole the thunder of my planned "new palm" thread for this evening!

Holy jumpin' ******, Bill

Un-bloody-believable! I've never seen healthier palms, came from an outstanding nursery obviously.
You unloaded all of it yourself? You've probably got a 2x4 taped to your back just to be able to straighten up for the pictures.

I'm curious...there's a Trachy, foreground in 3 pictures, second from the right that is so BLUE underneath (tied fronds).
maybe check that label?!

With this your second load I am so mad I don't live within an hour's drive of your place.

OMG, Bill, I can't stop looking at those pictures. 😛 ... the palms, Bill (then YOU!) 😆

Thanks so much Everyone!

Coltrane,
That was pretty much my reaction too when I started putting them all over the yard. On the farm it looked like a lot but here it looks like A LOT!!!!

Thanks Cameron!

Jim, trust me waggies are on my new favorite list for sure. I'm going to cut off the rope and free some of them today if the wind calms down.

Erik, Sorry to steal your thunder Buddy! I bet I had you shaking your head 😆 😆 😆 My tip for the day is a big ass greenhouse!!!

Scott, I would have loved to have had some help, everyone runs away every time I come back with plants 🙄 I told you they where big 😆

Barb, Yeah that waggie is pretty blue, I might just have to keep that one, along with a few others 😉 No 2x4 but my muscles are feeling it a bit, could be worse though.

Tim, Not to bad huh! Yeah it didn't take long for a waggie or 20 to show up did it 😆 😆 😆 I'll be around all day today if you want to stop by, where going to the Pats game Sunday, but I should also be here Monday. Give me a call.

Thanks again,
Bill

Thanks Mike!

Yeah, I'm selling them 😆 I started off fairly small this year, but figured I should take it to the next level. I thought it would be a good idea to toughen them up myself over the winter so people have more cold tolerant palms in the spring.

Jim's right I will be in Northern Jersey in the beginning of the week picking up a greenhouse for these guys.

Your welcome to stop by anytime your in the area, I think Philly is about 4 hours and change if I remember correctly. I picked up my moms car from a dealer in Philly a year and a half ago. I saw the biggest aucuba I ever saw in down town 😯 It was a monster!!! It's amazing the heat major cities put off in the winter, I bet it's a zone 8 most years reliably.

PM me if you have any questions Mike.

Thanks Jim 😉
