My Butia outgrows its protection every year
must be nice to have a Butia that actually grows... 😉
Burlap is enough? really? no heat tape/C-9 lights?
How about some update photos?
Jim's place must've been hit by a beer truck... 😆

Barb your palm has gone past the SCL. Sleep Creep Leap stage and is on its way to the second floor and off to the roof next 😀 . Nice to see it doing so well after so many years in a pot. How are the Washy`s doing ?

Both of your Washies have grown well this year in the 2 months we had blistering heat.
H loves the look of Washies, a good sign he might even offer some help with protection next year. 🙄

It worked last winter although it was a warm one. I had Christmas lights ready to deploy, but never needed them.
I have finally accumulated a score of photos and will be preparing an exhibit soon.

Looks great Barb, but you had better be careful! If you keep acqiring palms and other tropicals, you may be having to build yourself a "hut" to live in outside of the house.... 😯
