Hi everybody, there s few pics of my tropical garden in Mirabel, just north of Montreal, Canada. I have 4 Trachycarpus fortunei, 1 Chamaerops humilis, 1 Washingtonia robusta (that had a transplant shock in May, 😥 lost all the fronds, but still growing) and few baby, 1 Sabal minor, 1 Needle palm and 3 Queen palm for rental to customer and for my personal pleasure. All these palm will be protected next winter.
Ill keep you updated later on this fall...you can follow me on my youtube channel under expressiontropicale.

Thanks for the nice photos to update us, Beny.
Your place looks great.... get that Queen from CoconutMike?
Question: Was there not enough cold protection for the Washy?

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Thanks Barb,
I did nt bought my queens from Mike but from a botanic store 3 years ago. I stored them in a shopping center nearby for the winter. And i did nt protect the Washy yet, it lost all the soil from the roots ball during the transport from Mike to my house and i left it outside in full sun during 2 days before putting it on ground. It was a big mistake, i was to bussy to transplant a dozen a palm trees at my customers. But i just start to gave it a lot of 12-52-12 to help it to rebuilt the damage roots. I will try to protect it next winter with the baby at his feet.
Ben
nice garden, I like all those palms.

Looks like it'll make it, Beny.

Great garden! I hope your winter protection works out!
Thanks to all, the winter can wait..we should have a above normal temp. this fall here in southern Québec, like this summer. Im not complaining. Ill try a new technique like a mummy wrap for Trachy this winter, if this work, i will not need to build cage anymore for Trachy only. Will keep you update...
