I purchased a 8' Windmill from Mike @ Monteal Palms and was very excited to receive this today.

The truck driver laughed he hadn't ever delivered anything like this before. Luckily my landscaper was still here it took 3 of us and wheel barrow to get it around in the back yard. We had it in the ground within 30 minutes and gave it a good drink. When I told my landscaper I was getting a palm he might not have believed me he certainly does now. There have been many pictures of it taken by my landscaper, me, neighbours it's cause quite a scene and its only been in the ground 4 hours. I'll get the rest of my plants in the ground over the next few days and will post more very soon.

Beautiful palm. Mike is changing the Eastern Canada landscape. Did it come with instructions?

No but he was great answering any and all questions I had before, during, and after my purchase.

Even to the point of asking about soil type, drainage, where it was going and suggesting alternate loactions for it to perform its best. We spoke probably 30-45 minutes before I even ordered it. Mike wanted me to be really comfortable/sucessful with the tree. I emailed him a few weeks ago asking about the hole how big/deep and he answered all my questions and when it arrived there were certainly no surprises. Everything was exactly as I expected.

A great experience dealing with Mike.

If you're ever in the market for any tropical stuff I highly recommend Mike.

Congrats, now you'll have sleepless nights in winter like the rest of us... 😆

Yup, Mike's famous for his great service, and answers email Qs quickly.

Look forward to seeing your other stuff outdoors.

PALM LOOKS GREAT!!! You did a great job plantint your palm. Definite Waggie Hybrid you got there so it will be a touch hardier and handle a little more wind. I feel satisfied when I see a job well done.
Congrats and keep us posted
