Hello. Just noticed today my Mediterranean fan palm has seeds on it.

Do you have more than one palm? As I think Chamaerops is dioecious.

They will most probably bloom and then wither, unless you know of any other Chamaerops in your area? Mine flowered 2 years in a row and again has flowers, but never any seed. 😐

Nice palm, how long has it been in the ground? I cant get a med. fan paln through a zone 7 winter, much less to bloom.
Thanks guys. It has been in ground for at least 5 years probably more. Just use heat tape and cover in winter.
I have my Chaemerops "Volcano" which bloomed as well a couple of month ago and is developing it's fruits either. Have to take picture and share...

I checked my palm today - the seeds dried out.. It's a pity.
