I have images for you & Jay (BC interior)
BTW, I enjoyed seeing yuccas in the Vernon area. I actually wanted to scoop one and bring it to Vancouver Island.

OK, here's a big Washingtonia robusta near the BC Ferry Terminal.

Cheers

There should be more palms at English Bay.

islander, that is one unbelievably huge, magnificent Washy! 😀
Wow, that's got to be 30 - 35 years old?

What...these Yucca plants? 😉

Scooping yuccas of any size leads to sore feet, a bad back and a broken shovel.
Before I planted the filamentosas I recall reading "choose your planting site carefully, nearly impossible to dig out after a few years".

Thanks. Hope there'll be more pictures.

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.

Probably less than 10 years old. In warmer places they will grow that large in 5-6 years.
