Winter was horrible (mean T of January - minus 12C, February - minus 9. Abs. winter min. minus 29.)
Enjoy:

Hi Igor,
thanks for the update. Your Aucuba japonica looks great did you protect it? Your two Trachys look great too. It appears one is fortunei and the other is a waggie? I like your greenhouse too.........I need to get one! Did any plants die from the cold winter?

Thanks Tim! Yes, I did protect my Aucuba a little bit. I bent it down, put a thin layer of hay and some plastic above. I've made it overwintering this way about 20 years.
You are right there are fortuneu and waggi growing in my garden.
More pictures tomorrow (some Scotch and time for pics processing).
Good news - my Gunnera survived! But my Y.gloriosa variegata looks crappy. And as I said more pics tomorrow....

Nice palms and nice green house. Did you cover your palms? 😀

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Igor, so glad to see that those two palms are fine.
Better than fine! 😀
If I recall, you covered them only with cardboard boxes?
Glad your aucuba did so well.
Your Mom looks hard at work, the dear lady.
Great greenhouse and some very nice plants in there!
Thanks...
Must've been good Scotch...photos are late 😆 😆

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.
Great work! Enjoy the spring! You surely deserve it.

Nice palms and nice green house. Did you cover your palms? 😀
No heat nor light inside. Spent about 160 $ for straw blocks and about 50 $ for rock wool. Quite expensive hobby!

On the first pic is it a Arundo Donax Variegata? Did you protect that plant for the winter?
Thanks Godfryd. Yes, it is a variegated Arundo. I have both variegated forms of this species. I used a loose straw as a protection. Of course snow cover was an asset. Among with Arundo fatsia, hortensia and Fuchia magellanica have been overwintering successfully there.

Your Mom looks hard at work, the dear lady.
Thanks Barb. My Mom is turning 80 this May. But she is hard working lady. Never stops during either day or night.
Whiskey was supposed to be drinking tonight but I couldn't find my favorite the Jura malt.

Oh, no, John! This greenhouse is my Mom's tomato house. I "rent" it during an early spring time. In a couple of weeks I will be moving my stuff out of the GH.

your plants looks good Igor.........you have lots of Agaves and Yucca seedlings growing!
<a href="http://www.wunderground.com/US/MA/Seekonk.html?bannertypeclick=bigwx"><img src="http://weathersticker.wunderground.com/weathersticker/bigwx_both_cond/language/www/US/MA/Seekonk.gif" alt="Click for Seekonk, Massachusetts Forecast" border="0" height="60" width="468" />
Tim those agave "seedlings" are off-springs of the Agave at the upper left corner. Some tender (I think) variety of A.parry. I mean most of them. Yes I have some unsorted Agave seedlings granted by my friend.

Sorry for not posting the pics promised yesterday. Since a quality is poor (I don't like my Canon Ixus pictures) I'm gonna try shooting with my DSL Nikon tomorrow.
My thought to be dead Gunnera is alive actually... I found a tiny leaf and a few growing buds of my experimental plant....
