Jim,
Maurelli is such a cool plant to watch grow. Just think right about now is the time when they really start growing like weeds too, just think what another 3 1/2 months will make it look like 😯 😯 😯 I tend to think your room upstairs wont cut it this winter unless you blow a hole in the ceiling and hire two muscle heads to get it up there 😀

So what are you going to do with it? I'm planting a back up since I'm in the same boat, then I'll have a big one for next year if I can't stuff mine somewhere.

Bill it's going down in the basement to be stored like my Banana plant was.

I won't butcher mine as much as this guy-just enough to get it in the basement!

Gotta admit I winced when the video guy cut it ALMOST to the ground! 😕

Amazing growth Jim for only a year, but with your 14 inches of rain and heat, it thinks it's in the tropics.
What a gorgeous specimen.

For a minute Jim I thought you where going to post the picture of the German guy riding the abyssinian rocket 😆 😆 😆

If you can find that picture please post it, that had to have been one of the funnies things I've seen regarding plants on the internet.

Kind of disturbing but funny as hell.

By the way I bet that one from New York didn't make it after that hack job.

Hi Jim, nice growth. wonder if it makes that big as the german guys one did. Mine was almost dead in the spring and I was going to throw it away but here it is now. The weather has been crazy past 3 weeks, real tropics after an awful winter which is good for a while..
I also planted different sikkis grown from seed and theyŕe doing also well.
