Jungle Music is offering me Jubaea X Butia hybrids. You all know I love Butia but have not been impressed with Jubaea. I've read that Jubaea don't like the intense heat and humidity we get down here. Plus they grow even more slowly than Butia.
Do any of you have experience with this hybrid? It seems like it would be my best chance to grow something Jubaea-like down here.

No experience personally but that's a beautiful palm in 20+ years that's for sure.

Thanks for the tip, Bill.
In 20+ years I plan to be living in Belize growing Cocos instead!

I don't blame you! 😀 😀 😀
Erik, I have no experience with Jubaea, but if you're looking for a palm that can handle heat and high humidity, you might want to look for a Foxtail too.
Apparently NE Queensland--where original stands were discovered--is very hot and humid.
Jungle Music's hybrids sound too good to pass up, so maybe situate the pot where it'll get only morning sun?
I can see it now...in 20 years, you'll want to take them all with you to Belize. 8)
