Hello John

This is the big Jub that was planted as a small specimen by Jeff. Notice the small-leaf wagnerianus to the right.

There should be more palms at English Bay.

Another image of a Butia (actually the smallest in that garden) with another nice coastal Jubaea palm. Another previously tiny Jub speeding up in growth. Locals can at least start at 15 gal these days.

There should be more palms at English Bay.

I remember when the Vancouver wags were a rare 5 gal purchase from the mainland. They are now mature specimens gracing gardens on Salt Spring & Vancouver Island. They are now an easy, local find from seed to palm. 8)
