What a great afternoon, with John and Lillian visiting, and bringing some fabulous new palms.

Hiding in the shade with our beers, John and I sit behind the new palms, gorgous specimens he grew from seed.

From left, Fan Palm, 5 gal Naini Tal (Kentucky var). 10 gal Naini Tal, and a baby Pachypodium Lamerei (my other one's sulking again).

And a great pic of John and his better half, Lillian.

Happy to show John the in-ground Trachy. He said it's doing great, and I'm thrilled!

And here's John loading my Musa basjoo and its 5 pups into his truck.
The banana should do better at John's place; winds here shred the leaves beyond recognition every week.

We had a great visit! Thank goodness for beer on a hot day!

Thanks John and Lill for fabulous plants!
Barb

Forgot to show the great Trunk creep on this Nainital...superb

Thanks folks, I'm thrilled with my new palms.
And the musa will be much happier at John's place.

BTW, Jim, there's no such thing as excess beer. 😆 8)

I knew you would say that!

Maybe the lightweights that visit you leave a little in the can the next morning
(no cans here, only bottles 😀 )you could pour that on your plants 😕

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

😆 😆 funny!

Thanks Aaron, I was very impressed too.

But (my brain fart), ID was incorrect:
This is correct:

(from left) Mediterranean Fan Palm, 5 gal T.fortunei (Kentucky var.), 10 gal. T. Naini Tal., and the pachypodium lamerei.

Very Cool Barb!
It's nice to meet and hang out with people from the palm boards. I meet Scott this year and had a great time, to bad he didn't have more time to stay, maybe next year.

Nice to put a face with your posts John! Nice shirt to by the way, I drank the S#!t out of imperial when I was in Costa Rica 😆 😆 😆

Thanks Bill . Imperial is one of my favorite beers from Latin America. Barb just to clarify I didn`t grow the T. fortunei "Kentucky from seed. I ordered strap leaf seedlings from Brian`s botanicals in Louisville KY. Doesn`t look like he sells them anymore. But he has a lot of other interesting plants.
