My wife has a friend at work that is also a palm nut. He is not a BIG one, but is like me and loves Florida and wants to move there some day. So he buys palms. He had a nice normal Pygmy Date Palm. However he watered it too much this Winter already and it died. I told him do not feel bad as they are the most tempermental palm their is. He feels HORRIBLE.
What I would like to do it to give him a Canary Island Date Palm and let him know that it looks like his PDP but is much much much easier to take care of and IMO looks better.
How I would like to do this is to beg somebody to give me some Canary Island Date Palm seeds that I can pop for him and give him a couple of them.

Oh I know EVERYBODY on this board is so kind as to IF they had some, they would send them. This board is the best!!
