Thanks for the info. Do you think it would survive outside protected if I keep it at 35°

growing the impossible in my zone 5b?

Oh, I'm sure it could. They are pretty hardy palms.

I don't blame you. Like I mentioned I have two smaller ones and the intent was to plant one in the ground and try and over winter it but my problem is a place to put it because if it does grow.....it will need plenty of room. I can wait until next year while I think about it.
