Here's a question for everyone. Do you think he should just cut off all the leaves leaving only the spear? That's what I would do if I lived there. Yea,use an axe for every stage of the building whether you need to or not 👿

You might be far enough south that removing the fronds would work but probably better not to the first year,if you can avoid it.
