Awesome!

I think I'll try more agaves, this time with moisture protection.

My vote goes to Jim's place for most improvement or biggest transformation. 😯

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

You guys are way to kind 😳

Barb

Heres the earliest pic of one of the Washys I could find from Jan-13-2010

Heres both of them Nov-9-2011,the railing is about 6'

I really trimmed them back this year so they will take a while to come back.

That was just shy of TWO years??????? :hello1: :hello1: :hello1: :happy5: oh man!!!!!

really trimmed them back this year so they will take a while to come back.

Whad'ya mean REALLY trimmed them back?
why? ...to get them into winter protection structure?

I knew they'd be spectacular but to get growth like that in one year I'd have to get my septic tank to drain towards my palm... 😛

They were over 2 feet taller than last year but instead of
building on to the protection I trimmed them to fit last years.

Ahem.... 😯 wasn't it you who told me not to cut palm fronds until they're totally brown and crunchy, i.e. then all the potassium (from the old leaf) has gone into the palm for its health? :booty:

Sounds like me.....did I forget to say it's o.k. to cut
them if it means not covering them otherwise 😉
