Hey folks..particularily in s/ontario area...if your all interested...Valleyview Nurseries..Kennedy Rd near Finch has just got a large shipment..of trachy palms/washy's/bismarka...trachys are $199.00 for potted 6 footers with good size trunks...$59.99 gets you potted 3 to 4 footers...then $99 for about 5 footers....

There are also cordyline trees and other hardy and not so hardy...i spectacular choice!

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

Palmetto those are great prices. They don`t have a web site and would like to see some pics. If your around that area take a few pics for us.

Allan....,no sabals...however...nice trachy's...and a fine assortment of washy palms/CIDP's/bismarka..all decent sizes..

John...I usually bring some smaller spec. back from s/carolina but for $59 (3 footers) that aint too bad...

I grabbed a nice five footer (potted) for $149.00 I was there last night and just stumbled across the trachy's looking for banana trees..

I'll post a pic as soon as I get to my home lap top...

The nursery # is 416-291-1270...no web site but they specialize in tropical's...A lot of the rich folks and business's buy these palms for their seasonal landscaping-in and out...

How's your in ground palms??
