Nice work Doug.
Congrats again on your marriage.

Wondered if you were on a never-ending honeymoon 😆 😆 😆

The yard looks great.......are the Trachy's growing again?

The one on the left has three spears coming up and seems to be really moving. The smaller one on the right has one spear that I think is newer and not as fast moving. I did mark a couple leaves that still had to come out more and I've noticed around 2 inches of movement, but not much else.

Now my Mexican fan that I have indoors seems to be going like crazy, it opened the spear that I got it with, has now sent up another that opened as well and I have another spear coming out that's about 8 inches. If that thing really gets going I may risk putting that out doors permanently and see how it goes with good protection.

The Mexican fan should be outdoors in its pot.
The fresh air is good for it.

But then I have to deal with bugs when I bring it back in in the fall..... I'll give it some thought though.

Can't it/they be sprayed with insecticide before bringing them in? that is what I do.

That's not a bad idea.... I've only been a little preoccupied since getting back from the honeymoon to think much about it. I would have been more apt to throw it out there if it wasn't doing anything....
