Just found out today that I am driving to Lake Dallas (North of Dallas, Tx.) the last weekend of March. Is anybody in that area and knows what grows wild area that I can dig up???
Don't know what you can dig up, but you can save yourself from being arrested for trespassing by stopping by Home Depot, Lowes, etc and buy yourself some nice big cold hardy palms for about 1/3 of what it would cost you around here.
Have fun.
Kent in Kansas
where it's cold in winter (always)
and hot in summer (usually)

I was thinking they had areas where Robusta's just drop seeds and sproat even in the side walks???
Also, I was thinking about down by the lake. I definatly do not want to dig up non invasive stuff like wild Minors or others. I was thinking more of the invasive Robusta's in sidewalks and such.
And Yea, I am going to look on "Dave's Garden" site to see any good Nurserys or if I see a Lowe's or HD, I will be stopping.
I thought I was the only person who drove around with a shovel in their trunk.
Good for you kansas!
When I used to live in Vancouver, I'd go on a "plant hunt" on weekends. Especially when I saw an old house being torn down; there's always good pickin's (albeit some too big). And the contractors are happy to have you dig out whatever they're tripping over.

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.
