With permission, I am posting a link to a YouTube video (shot with an iPhone, Bill--hint, hint) by our own John Lodes last week (December 11). He and local nursery owner Steve Owens ( http://www.bustaniplantfarm.com/ ) went in search of the famous McCurtain County Sabal minor.

Almost strange, doesn't look like an area where palms would grow.
But there they are, big as life.
And beautiful specimens they are.

And nobody's got a shovel :error:
