Just got back from our week in Daytona. Fairly cool! Struggled to go above 70f. I believe it was warmer one day in Southern Ontario than central Florida. Oh well, I love Florida no matter what the weather and it's nice to get away from the Great "brown" North and see some green! Noticed a lot of damaged palms through in South Carlolina, Georgia and Florida as well. You could tell it was a rough winter down south. I didn't get many pictures of that, We were only stopping for washroom breaks and eating! Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Scotty, whoa, the south did get blasted with cold!
Doesn't look much different after a hurricane though so they'll bounce back.
Yup, I would've drooled over those Wodyetia too...gorgeous.
It'd fit in your car...around twice.
I bet you bought a shovel... 😉

If you go back to where that second to last pic was taken,all the palms have mysteriously disappeared! 👿

Glad to hear you had a nice trip! I'm really surprised to see that washy so burnt, they only got down to 25f, higher I'm sure
on beach side. Glad you liked the gardens in Ormond, Did you see the giant sago by the road where the waterfall was? There
was some seeds on it just about to pop when I was there.
Can't wait to see more pictures!

Thanks Bill. Didn't get to your cousin's place :(.. The weather was pretty crappy Thursday so we decided to head home a bit early. Didn't see that Sago! Too bad. Loved the garden's man! So did my wife. Yeah a few washy's in Daytona looked pretty burnt. The ones in Georgia and SC were awful!!

It was actually warmer here the last three days, now that your home that's acceptable since it's getting to
