Got a bit of snow in the garden this morning. Made for some good pics of these palms.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Great pics, James, of great palms.

(sorry, but I'm laughing that you folks down there got snow, I used to live in Vancouver) 😆 😆
Thank goodness it wasn't during a weekday rush hour, huh?

Nice shots. What's that white stuff on the leaves? LOL we haven't seen much of that this winter.

James nice pics of a rare snow day in Vancouver. Are those Trachy`s a hybrid T. fortunei x T.wagnerianus? The fronds look very rigid and smaller than a regular form of T. fortunei.

Good eye John but neither is a hybrid.

The one in the first pick is a waggie, the one in the second is a fortunei but all its fronds are from 2011 so they arnt as droopy yet as the ones they replaced. The waggie fronds are super rigid while those of the forunei look much stiffer in the pic than they actually are.

Just a little new today, probably less than an inch and some scattered
areas that didn't quite melt of from the last snowfall.

Hopefully over the weekend we can work on getting rid of it again.

Late season storms are easier to take because the better sun angle makes
quick work of the snow. 8)
