Barb- I actually thinned the Opuntia quite a bit this year. I wonder how it will look in 2 more years time? I also expanded the bed, again, since I always want to try more plants!
In 2 years, Paul, you won't even see the gravel mulch! 😀

nice garden update. Your blooming Yuccas look great. Your filamentosa seem unusual since the blooms start within the leaves..........this is nice since I dont' see this form around here.

Really nice desert garden..i have opuntia too here in Mirabel,Quebec. And yhis year is the best one, lot of flower right now. My palms still good too. Its bad then i don't have more space to do a big desert garden like yours.
