I have had this Brahea edulis for about 3 years. It's in a 15 gallon pot and has progressed relatively well. I've had good luck with it's cousin, B. armata planted out and wonder about planting this one as well. They are somewhat more tender, but John Spaulding in Seattle has a large B. edulis in his garden. I guess siting is always the best option but I' running out of "primo" spots.

Cheers, Barrie.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Nice palm!
Are you planning on planting it in the ground soon or are you waiting till spring?

Well Wes,
I don't know for cetain, but planting it soon is likely my best option. It's been outside (unheated greenhouse in winter) for the last 3 years. I just hate digging 15 gallon holes in my rocky, gravelly "soil".

Cheers, Barrie.
