Where is your beautiful queens palm, in the garage? Do you grow tropic palms from seed or mostly buy them in pots.. Rare and pricey stuff i see there. Thanks

Yes, road trip in the Spring. You can be in Dallas in a day.

As a matter of fact wife and I are trying to put together a road trip to San Antonio. Have never really been to Texas before and buddy of mine goes to San Antonio a lot and tells me how great it is. Needless to say, I would drive my truck and bring it back FULL.

Both Queens over winter in garage and do fine there among other palms. I have almost zero luck with palms from seed other than Mexican fan palms and Bizzys. Everything you see in pictures I buy in pots locally, or mail order and some bare root.

I don't know SA well. Dallas is famous for their palm markets, but I assume SA will have plenty for sale as well.

For a little bit longer, you might as well go all the way to the beach. We do Corpus Christi.

(And last year I kept going, through Mexico, to Belize.)

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Now thats a palm collection. At least I keep all my agaves out in another building. I would be wife hunting if I got caught with plants in the bathtub.
