Thanks for the pics Jim.

Dig that banana up and take it in for winter... How else are you going to get any potassium?

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Thanks guys/gals

His mom took the photo.

He was making faces at me the other day
so,I snapped one 😛

Paul

I thought about building some contraption around the Banana plant to keep the blooms going......
but I think I have enough to keep me busy.

Cold air comes down from Canada this weekend,we are in our longest driest stretch of the year right now
and 'they' are predicting an Omega block through(at least) next week/beyond?,
nice to let things finally dry out-especially going into fall/winter!

Omega block=

Jim,
did she take the dragonfly photos as well? Those are stunning. I cannot imagine the skill it would take to get a snap like that!
I find plants hard enough to take pictures of!
Also, thanks for the "block" link. That was interesting.
I'm also appreciating the cool dry air we both have right now. --Erik

Imagine the skill it would take to photograph yourself 😯

that's the only one I didn't take. 😀

Bill here's a pic of the Takil seedling-

notice the fuzz on the leaf as well as that(I'm sure you noticed)it's a 2 ridger 😀

Na,the camera does all the work-you just make sure it's
clear in the window and it will be in the shot 😐

Sure jim, blame canada....... 👿 lol. IF it makes you feel better, we had out first frost saturday night. Cannas have stopped in their tracks, so have my morning glories..... I think the passiflora and cyperus are still going though.. .dunno how I pulled that one off :S Funny.... days at 14-18C, and nights hovering around freezing......

The banana flower is crazy. Any luck on an ID yet??

Looking really good Jim as always!

I hope the frost spared you this morning, it must have been close.

I'm planting my takils today for sure 😉
