Hello All,

Been gone for a while, but I have been keeping up on everyones posts. Anyways, my search for a large trachy fortunei continues, does anyone have a line on where within Canada I could source these? I can get some nice ones from the southern U.S but I am not sure about getting them over the border. I know B.C has some big ones but thats a 4 day trip each way.
Also, I am looking for some decent size washys, I lost 2 this winter, very not happy about that 🙁
Hope everyone got through winter ok. 27C here today, winter to summer in a couple weeks...not complaining....

I called them and spoke to Musa...I bought my large washy there, its still doing great, I keep it in the high school greenhouse and it thrives...he told me it was 350 bucks, and only 4.5 feet tall...I assume you have seen the one he is talking about? Is it nice?
This winter did seem harsh or maybe just long. There is a fellow in dundas who has a nice size, about 5 foot of trunk. I have not seen him post for a bit. I lost my all my hardy banana's to a frost early in the season so I just neglected them, left them out, no warmth, no water and 3 babies popped up the other day, I am so happy about that.
I have a 20 ft foxtail, and a 15 foot queen but can't find a decent size trachy...

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............................................

How is everything there?

A/palm---- that trachy at Valleyview looked pretty nice with healthy large fronds...i would give it a go...

All my in ground trachys are lookin ok...

I planted a 3.5 footer last year. I protected it and it survived with minimal damage.

I have another trachy going in this wkend...and if I can find the spot, a jelly palm.

My spring pics are in production...
