A good friend of mine planted that big palm 25 years ago and added the other years later. I have to move both of them. My friend sold the house and the new home owners don't like palms. Personally I think they are crazy! It will be a big job to move those two palms, not to mention big bucks! I'm going there at 10 am tommorrow to take a look at them and see where I have to move them to. Joe

Nice trachy!
It looks to be about the same size as my largest one but this one looks much greener.
What is the best way to green up my trachies.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

I had a palm that big in florida and it sucked alot of water out of my well. We had a well because i lived in middle of florida with hardly any lakes. I had to get rid of mine for a reason. Then after that the only palm I had was small date palm.In trenton its far colder so I wont get a palm like the one in BC. Anyway very nice palm 😀

Those palms are growing in very good soil and they proabably have been regularly top dressed each year and given good amounts of fert. I knew the gal that lived there and she probably used Miracle Grow or 20-20-20 . Cheers, Joe

I went to check out that palm this morning. It has 18'ft of trunk and the other beside it has 7'ft of trunk. I will transplant them in 3 weeks from today. I will use and excavator and a flat deck crane truck to transport the largest one. They will look good in the new area where they will be planted. Cheers, Joe

John, Those palms are extremely happy where they are growing and when ever I get hired to do a job like this I have to ask why on earth would someone want it removed. They are giving the two palms away for free! That's even more insane. The transpanting job will cost the guy several hundred bucks, but well worth it. I would take them in a second. The tallest of the two palms was planted in 1981. The spot where I will plant then isn't to far away. I have already picked out the site where they are to be planted. Cheers, Joe
