Looking great Jim! Washies and Brahea especially. I have really struggled with Braheas here (humidity).

Wow Jim. Looks awesome. Let's hope the roots on the washies don't get damaged this winter. I had my issues the second winter, so I will be closely monitoring your progress. 🙂

Another great year there.
Sorry about the jade plant. 😥

As always, the tree ferns astound me most of all!

Looking great Jim! It still astounds me how well the trunk cut trachies recovered. It's just sick that some A-hole would steal one of your plants. I bet you have plenty of jealous neighbors though...

I put up my trachy enclosure but I will not be plugging it in for probably at least a couple weeks. I wanted to be ready so I don't get caught with my pants down since I'll be out of town for a while. It was 64 on Saturday so I thought it was a perfect day to finish the yard work! Even though the long-range forecast looks decent I know it can change quick in MN. Last year we had a foot of snow already by this time, though it didn't seem to bother my trachies. Just was not much fun putting up their enclosure in it though.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Eh Jim!!

Everything looks good! Especially those needle palms! Im still amazed that the tetrapanax manages to volunteer. My seed never germinated, so none for me 🙁

How is that Phyllostachys Nigra doing?

WOW. you crazy. your yard looks great. Its amazing what just a few years of growth can do for a tropical look. Good luck on your wintering plans.

Wow, Jim, if I had to select one favorite, I simply couldn't pick one over any other.
They are so beautiful, not a mark on them, no nutritional deficiencies, no spots, no fungus.

What a transformation in your yard from years ago. 😀

Sorry about your stolen jade.
The nerve of that moron!
