Today it got up to 57. So I took my Forunei (1' trunk w/ 9 fronds), Takil (3" trunk), Hystrix (2" trunk) & the Sabal (1" trunk ,The one you sent Desert) outside for about an hour and a half. I put them on the south face wall so they got much sun but not much wind. Think it was a good idea? Or do I need to wait? Friday it's supposed to be 64. Can I do again?
I don't imagine it hurts anything if you start even as early as now. I usually wait until early March here in Boise, but I have seen sub-arctic air blasts and snow this late here; you probably know your area's climate better than I know it tho. I wouldn't recommend putting them out for a warm week and having them stuck back inside for a month and a half, but even a cold rainy (or snowy) four or five days should be ok. I would go for it!
Who wouldn't want free pie and chips?
Do just what you are doing, it is a good idea to get them use to the strong sun light before you put them out for the long hall. keep doing that untill the chance of a freeze is gone. 🙂

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.
