I feel like a 4 year old. All antsy and full of anticipation. I must have Tropical Fever.

The Plant Farm ships my Yuccas and bamboo today.

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

I know the feeling. When I ordered the rhapidophyllum hystrix from Toronto I had to ship air because I couldn't wait.
What bamboos did you get and what yuccas?

Fargesia murieliae is the bamboo. I have Y. flacida Ivory tower and garland gold as well as Y. filamentosa golden sword on their way as well.

Nice selection of yuccas. 🙂 I've always wanted to get some bamboo but i don't have the space.

They arrived yesterday in the midst of the heat wave. I opened the package and gave them a little air and checked that they were okay. There was no way that I was going to plant them in the middle of a 31C day.

I still have my Rhododendrons in their pots waiting for the lilac to finish blooming (so I can rip it out). The Rhodos, palms and Jacarandas just loved the heat and sun over the past 3 days( 28, 30 & 31 C).
